FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Where are you located?
The Films are shown at the very end of Broadway Pier with the screen closest to the end/water. One of the best places to watch an outdoor movie in the city, with breezes off the water and so many great shops and restaurants nearby.
Q: How much does it cost?
It’s FREE! Thanks to sponsorships by several local businesses, Fell’s Point Residents Association, and The Preservation Society. The event series is only possible through generous sponsorships by local businesses so please patronize and support the sponsors!
Q: Should I bring a chair/blanket?
The pier is concrete/brick so we do suggest camping chairs instead of blankets. However, many people do bring blankets and you’re welcome to do so. Low cost chair rentals are also available.
Q: Can I bring food/drink?
As with any outdoor open event in a park or such, food is up to you! In the past, many have come early to claim their spot and “picnic” before the movie starts. Many sponsoring restaurants offer food take-away specials or you can come early (or stay late) for a sit-down meal. There is not an open container/liquor permit for the event.
Q: What time do the movies start?
At around 8:45PM but exact start times vary. Movies will be planned to start “at dusk” but we suggest you arrive early to claim your spot. This also gives you time to pick up food or shop our great local businesses!
Q: Where can we park?
We always suggest walking, biking, Water taxi, or ride share options, but parking is available at several garages and lots nearby. We suggest the garage on Caroline Street, Thames St, or many of the lots of the west side of Caroline.
Q: Can we bring dogs?
Though it is an outdoor venue, we do suggest leaving the pups at home. The pier can get crowded and there are many distractions, including people eating and loud noises. We want to make sure all film-goers have a great viewing experience.
Q: What if it rains?
We will not hold movies in severe weather conditions. Stay tuned to the facebook page or twitter on the day of the event for any cancellation/rescheduling
